This neat looking racer was made from the parts in a Meccano / Erector Motion System Set 20 that first came out in 2007 . This particular set came combined with Motion System Set 30 introduced in 1999. Both sets came packaged in a grey carrying case and were sold like this in Canada and the U.S.A. some years after the sets came out individually. The two instruction manuals have plans for a wide range of models. My model is a modified version of that shown in the manual using additional parts from set 30. It is powered by a small battery operated motor , two of which came with the sets. Looking on the web both sets seem to be listed but not at the combined bargain price these sets were sold for in Canada.
