These two
old Thames Sailing Barges "Lady
Helen" and "Charles Burley" lying on the
River
Blackwater near Heybridge Basin are slowing rotting away
into the mud and make a nice
subject for sketching or photography. Their date of abandonment is
unknown to me but possibly the 1960s.
